PREVIOUS WORK HISTORY:
My previous experience was mainly in a customer service environment. Prior to BOC I was employed at the Royal Bolton Hospital as a Ward Clerk dealing with patient’s admissions and discharges and dealing with notes for appointments and clinics.


WHY DID I APPLY TO BOC:
I applied to BOC as I had family that had previously worked for BOC and they had advised that BOC had a good reputation as an employer.


MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
My Main Job Responsibilities are:
- Taking oxygen orders from patients for replenishment of stocks.
- Contacting clinicians to ensure that the patients get the equipment they require for their oxygen needs.
- Liaising with engineers to arrange emergency deliveries and with any problems with a patients oxygen supplies.
- Ensuring that everything is logged accurately and passed to the relevant people.


THE MOST EXCITING THING ABOUT MY ROLE:
I enjoy the busy environment that I work in and enjoy feeling that I have helped somebody when they have been either having problems with their current supply or arranging delivery of a new supply of oxygen.


WHERE COULD YOU SEE YOUR CAREER GOING?:
I am currently happy where I am in Vitalair and cannot see myself moving on at the moment.
