Work Permits & Screening
APPLICANT SCREENING - Important Notes
During the recruitment process you will be asked to prove your identity and demonstrate your entitlement to work in the UK and Republic of Ireland by showing us items such as your birth certificate, passport, driving license etc.
It is also important to note that some job vacancies may be considered by BOC as a safety-critical. Under these circumstances, any offer of employment is subject to a pre-employment drug test, which will be conducted as part of your pre-employment medical. By applying on line you will have provided your consent to complete this test.
As with the pre-employment medical this is done under strict confidentiality guidelines. However, if the test proves positive BOC has reserved the right to withdraw any offer of employment, which is conditional on a test result that is satisfactory to BOC. BOC recommends that you do not resign from your existing employment until the test results are received and we confirm your offer of employment
