BOC’s resourcing policy

BOC UK’s Resourcing Policy

The Linde Group aims to maintain a competent, flexible and quality-conscious workforce. To this end, the Company intends to select the best available person for every vacancy, regardless of sex, race, colour, religion, marital status, ethnic origin, age, disability or sexual orientation.
At the same time, we aim to provide all employees with the opportunity to develop long-term careers appropriate to their abilities and ambitions.
The UK HR Services Department is committed to provide a fair, systematic and reliable recruitment and selection procedure for selecting the most suitable candidate for any given vacancy.
All candidates will be required to complete a selection procedure, which will assess you against a range of specified criteria. The selection process is based primarily on several carefully considered factors such as your previous job performance, your experience, knowledge, skills and related qualifications, and your career interests.

Basic Recruitment Procedure
A vacancy is advertised (usually for 14 days) on the appropriate on-line career centre/s internally. All senior vacancies are advertised globally. New vacancies will be automatically emailed to staff that have registered to receive new career opportunities via the Personal Job Shopper feature within ProviTrac (BOC’s resourcing system).
After this period of time, if appropriate the role will be opened up to external candidates.
All applications should be made using the on-line process within BOC’s recruitment system (ProviTrac). Individuals without the use of the Internet, should contact the HR Services Central Support Team for assistance on 01483 244246.
