Liquefied Gases

For processes that require small volumes of liquefied gases we supply

• Liquid cylinders (also called cryogenic dewars). We can deliver or you can collect from our network of retail stores and agents.
• Small liquid tanks. This is also known as mini-bulk or small bulk supply into cryotanks, drum tanks or tonne (ton) tanks.
  • We refill your on-site tank - either to order or at an agreed frequency.
  • Our BOC Cryospeed business offers specialised delivery, advice on safe handling, use and storage for cryogenic gases and safety advice and cryogenic equipment.

    We supply small liquid volumes of:

Bulk Gases

For processes that require higher volumes of gaseous or liquid product:

• We supply the following products as liquid to reduce the required storage capacity. They are delivered by cryogenic tanker into a vacuum insulated bulk storage vessel that we usually own and maintain on your site. The product can be withdrawn as either gas or liquid.

• We supply the following products in high pressure gas tube trailers. The product may be transferred into on-site storage or exchanged with an on-site trailer used as storage.

For very high volumes and processes requiring continuous gas supply, on-site generation or pipeline delivery can offer lower-cost and high security of supply.

• A heat transfer system for a float glass furnace that increased productivity by 19 percent over air-fuel operation and by 9 percent over conventional oxy-fuel, exceeding customer expectations for increasing pull whilst maintaining exacting product quality.
• A new, low maintenance, chilling system for chicken and beef patties that resulted in reduced waste, improved product quality and a 20 percent increase in the efficiency of mixers and blenders.
• A CO₂ based water treatment process that reduced contamination from the corrosion of lead water pipes, allowing a water utility to meet stringent water quality requirements.
