Products

We supply a range of pure and pre-mixed gases for Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP). Our Food Fresh gases include pre-mix MAP products tailored to extend the shelf-life of different food groups. Pure gas is supplied as compressed or liquid, for on-site mixing to your recipe. The MAP gases are:

• Nitrogen – to prevent oxidation and increases shelf life, reducing the need for preservatives that are perceived by the consumer to be detrimental to nutrition and health.
• Carbon Dioxide – to improve the quality and shelf-life of dairy and meat products.
• Oxygen – to aid respiration of fruit and vegetables, colour retention in red meat and avoid anaerobic conditions in white fish.

We supply a wide range of specialist gases for fumigation, pest control and sterilisation, including:

• Nitrous Oxide –  for reduction of post harvest decay in fruit through ethylene action inhibition.
• Envirosols such as Vapormate –  for protecting stored grain.
• Insecticides based on natural pyrethrum –  for food storage areas.
• Sulphur Dioxide – for fumigation.
• Chlorine and Ethylene Oxide –  for sterilisation.
• Ammonia – to control plant pests such as aphids, thrips, whiteflies and scales.
