Products

Our inert gases include:

• Nitrogen – our most cost-effective inert gas, available in bulk or on-site for:
  • protective atmospheres to prevent oxidation or combustion by atmospheric air and contamination by moisture.
  • displacing or diluting unwanted gas or vapour, to reduce oxygen concentration or remove air, flammable or toxic vapour.
  • flushing unwanted gases from solutions.
• Argon – a higher value inerting alternative to nitrogen for highly reactive materials such as lithium and magnesium compounds.
• Helium – to purge and pressurise liquid hydrogen tanks and piping systems where other inert gases would freeze.

Other relevant products include:

• Carbon dioxide – for spot inerting operations and for situations where carbon dioxide’s acidic properties are particularly suitable.
• Gaseous chemicals – such as sulphur hexachloride for aluminium degassing.
