Products

Relevant water treatment products include:

• Oxygen – supplied in bulk or generated on-site for reducing Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) and Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) by oxygenation.
• Carbon Dioxide – supplied in bulk - for pH control.
• Chlorine, Sulphur Dioxide and Ammonia – used in water sterilisation.
• Scientific mixtures and high purity gases – for water and effluent analysis.
• Vitox system – an oxygen injection system to lower Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) or Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) in industrial wastewater. A low capital way to increase treatment capacity while reducing power consumption.
• Primox system – oxygen injection directly into sewer mains to prevent formation of corrosive, foul-smelling hydrogen sulphite. It produces sewage with good settling characteristics which reduces plant loading.
