• We offer a wide range of single high-pressure cylinders. Cylinder sizes and pressures vary according to the needs of the local market. Colour coding also varies in accordance with local standards. We use leading edge technology to deliver innovation in cylinder and valve design.
• For higher demand situations, compressed cylinders can be manifolded together. A manifold usually has two independent sets of controls to allow either alternate or simultaneous operation of two cylinder banks.
• Bundles comprise a number of cylinders manifolded together. They are also called MCPs (manifolded cylinder pallets) or MAN packs in some countries. They have either single or dual outlets and can comprise either pure or mixed gases. These packs provide an uninterrupted supply of gas and can be transported by a fork-lift truck.
• Liquefied gases are available for:
  • small volume applications requiring liquid.
  • large volume applications requiring bulk supply.

• We design and install storage and distribution systems to ensure safe and efficient use of our gases.
• We provide Risk Management services to help hospitals identify and manage risks to ensure continuity and integrity of supply of essential medical gases.
• We work with our customers to optimise their supply chain for non-production consumables. Our full-time on-site facilities managers streamline non-core processes, for example, they:
  • manage the procurement and distribution of gas and related equipment to the 60 departments of a London university. The service focuses on the safe storage, distribution and use of gases.
  • rationalise the range of industrial consumables for one of Scotland’s largest industrial sites, improving stock control and cutting invoices by 2000/year.

Safety

Safety is our top priority. We have 18 million cylinders in circulation and fill 60 million cylinders every year. Our local operations comply with the highest safety and environmental standards for cylinder filling, testing and distribution.  Every cylinder goes through rigorous pre-fill and post-fill checks to ensure that it is labelled correctly and is undamaged. Routine internal checks ensure that the cylinder is not corroded or damaged.
