• who can bring together our capability in design, engineering, procurement, project management, gas supply, equipment and process control to deliver a total solution. For example:
  • Using computational fluid dynamics to determine the optimum positioning of oxy-fuel burners to boost output from your glass or electric arc furnace.
  • Selecting burners for best heat transfer and temperature stability, installation and start-up and undertaking on-going audits, improvements and management.

Clinical programmes

BOC’s healthcare customers can rely on us to deliver medical gases and delivery systems that comply with the most stringent regulatory standards. Our offer to the heathcare sector includes:

• Working with hospital clinicians and general practitioners to develop optimum treatment programmes for the clinical application of medical gases. And designing, installing and servicing complex medical gas systems.

Supply chain management

For some of our major customers, our welding gases, consumables and equipment account for a large percentage of their non-production consumables. As a result, many of our major customers classify BOC as a tier-one supplier and we extend our service offer to:

• Managing the procurement, inventory and internal distribution of all industrial consumables. We take responsibility for non-core activities such as product specification, inventory control, safety management, and technical support to add value and take cost out of your supply chain.

Outsourcing

We offer design, source, own, operate and maintain packages to allow you to concentrate on your core processes:

• On-site generation of gases - oxygen, nitrogen, argon, compressed air and hydrogen and purification of carbon dioxide waste gas off-streams.
• Water treatment systems for industrial and municipal effluent treatment.
• On-site fluorine generation for the semiconductor industry.
