  • Since 1997, a BOC-led joint venture has invested in the world’s largest nitrogen-generating facility. Nitrogen is used to boost recovery from oil reservoirs. The complex also produces power and steam.

Our Supply Options

We offer on-site gas solutions on the basis of design, supply, own, operate and maintain. We do not sell gas production plant. (On this website, the term “on-site” is used to describe pipeline supply from either production capacity located on a customer site or on a nearby site.)

BOC is now part of The Linde Group and sources gas production plant from Linde Engineering including:

• Air Separation Units (ASU) – full range of capacity and pressure, variable output, nitrogen recycle for liquid production, high purity production, rare gas recovery.
• Pressure Swing Absorption (PSA) – for low pressure oxygen and nitrogen recovery from air and for recovery of pure hydrogen from hydrogen-rich gases.
• Hydrogen plants – PSA, steam reforming, natural gas reforming and electrolytic plants.
• Synthesis gas plants - for the production of syngas and H₂/CO from natural gas, heavy oil and coal.
• CO₂ purification and liquefaction - separation and pre-purification of CO₂ from exhaust gases from chemical and petrochemical processes or natural gas, liquefaction, storage and dry ice production. Additional catalytic treatments are used to produce food grade CO_2.
